Celebrate Canada 150 in the Town of Parry Sound

Canada Day Festivities

Beginning at 11 AM in the Town Dock Band Shell & the Stockey Centre Parking Lot!  Highlight events and activities include:

Town Dock & Bandshell:

• Performances by ALAKAZAM, "The Human Knot"
• Performance by Lukas Stark, the Mystery Entertainer
• Performances by outstanding Parry Sound's Got Talent acts
• Whispering River Orchestra
• Seguin Sam & Seguin Sarah Costume Contest
• Food and Craft Vendor Village

 Stockey Centre Lot - 11 AM - 7 PM

• "Rekindling the Spirit" Ceremony and Celebration
• Kids Zone inflatables and activities
• Explore a Fire Truck with the Parry Sound Fire Department
• Face painting & balloon artists

 Also, don't miss:

• Bands on the Bay performances on the Stockey Centre patio
• MV Chippewa cruises
• Festival of the Sound cruise
• Fireworks over the Bay at dusk!

 Seguin Sam & Sarah Costume Contest:

• Awards for the best dressed Seguin Sam and Seguin Sarah
• Under 18, and 18+ age categories
• First place prize of $100, runner-up prize of $50
• Judging to take place at 12 PM at the Bandshell

Fireworks!

Don't miss the spectacular fireworks display at dusk!  They're getting bigger and better every year! If you're viewing the show from a boat, on the Georgian Bay, please respect the no boat zone.
