2021 Fire Pump Poker Run

Join us for the first ever Crane Lake Poker Run! Taking place July 31st, get your family in a boat and cruise to our Fire Pump locations to build your winning Poker Hand!

Do you know where all the Fire Pumps and AED’s (Automated External Defibrillators) are located on Crane Lake?  Maybe you know the location of the pump nearest to your cottage, but what if you were out boating and needed an AED? It is good to know where the Fire Pumps and AED’s are located just in case you are out for a boat ride or visiting another cottage for the day and an emergency happens. 

To help raise awareness about the location of all our Fire Pumps and AED’s we invite all cottagers to join our fun Poker Run this Saturday July 31st from 12 noon to 2pm.

Participation is simple and safe due to our socially distanced format.

• Simply study the Crane Lake Association map (http://www.cranelakeassociation.ca/lake-map)

• Hop in a boat with your cottage family

• Safely boat to each of the 5 Fire Pump locations and collect 1 envelope which will contain 1 playing card. The Fire Boat is not included as one of the locations

• After you’ve collected 1 envelope from each Fire Pump, take a picture of your 5 card poker hand and upload it to the website link provided on July 31st.

• On Sunday August 1st, we’ll announce the winning teams and award prizes for the top 3 poker hands.

Not only will you enjoy a fun afternoon on the water experiencing our beautiful lake, you’ll be more educated and aware of the locations of our useful Fire Pumps and life-saving AED’s and have the chance to win some great prizes along the way.
