Fire Notification Signup
When a 911 call is placed for a fire incident on Crane Lake, Seguin Fire Services is notified (who provide fire support to Crane Lake under a contract with the Township of the Archipelago). At the same time, a mass notification is sent out by a company called Northern911 to anyone who has signed up to receive these notifications.
By completing and submitting this form, you are requesting to have your cell number or email address added to the Notification List for Fire Incidents on Crane Lake. Please limit requests to one contact per cottage address. Once a notification is received, you are free to forward it to any number of family members and friends.
Submitting your cell number or email address for inclusion in the Notification list does not mean you are required to personally respond to a fire. It allows you to know the location of the fire should you be on the lake at the time of the incident, and able and willing to respond and provide assistance. Once the Fire Notification list has been updated, we will send out a test message so you can verify your inclusion.

Northern911 is a professional emergency dispatch company under contract with the Township of the Archipelago and its purpose is to receive calls routed from Ontario’s 911 service and disseminate the appropriate information.
