On Saturday June 12th, between 10am and 1pm, pick up free plants for your waterfront on Crane Lake, courtesy of the Love Your Lake Microgrant program.

Crane Lake has been chosen by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry as the site for their project monitoring fisheries in Ontario’s inland lakes. Throughout May & June there will MNRF staff on Crane Lake almost every weekday as they set out the fish nets and tag the fish. The fish nets will be very visible and are mobile.

The Georgian Bay Land Trust is hosting a webinar on July 18th on Conservation and Climate Change. The GBLT is a local Land Trust, protecting wilderness in our backyards!
